How and why you should avoid yak shaving
You need to fix a bug. Before you fix the bug, you need to update your libraries, before you can do that, you need to update your operating system. Before that, maybe you should install that RAM upgrade ... at MIT, the term yak shaving was coined to describe this pattern. This talk will describe how people fall into it and how you can break out of it.
