There is a lot of conventional wisdom in the startup world. When I was at MIT taking classes on entrepreneurship, it was clear that there is a certain way you are supposed to run a startup. My experience with StatSheet.com runs counter to much of what you hear from VCs, academics and even other entrepreneurs.
